Playing The Game
Roulette tables sit up to seven players. It mainly consists
of a numbered wheel and a betting area. (Known as The Layout) Players
make their bets, the croupier spins the wheel and when the wheel
stops and the ball on it lands on a numbers, the croupier checks
the bets placed by the players and pays out if there is a winner.
On this game, the challenge is to bet correctly and win, because
the only thing that the player does is bet. The spinning of the
wheel and the releasing of the ball are in charge of the croupier.
Betting
Betting at Roulette is easy, despite the large number of options
the player has.
To play at a Roulette table, the player has to buy special chips.
By special we are referring to the color. Each player has a different
and only color, so, chips have one unique value. To bet more or
less the player simply bet more or less chips. The Roulette chips
can only be used at the Roulette table, and must be chased in for
regular chips before leaving the table. Assigning one color to each
player helps the croupier when is pay time. This way, the croupier
can easily tell who won and how much, avoiding complications. To
avoid cheating, when the ball goes under the line in the wheel,
the players can’t move their chips and have to put their hands
off the table until the ball stops and the wining bets are paid.
To define which of the multiple betting options the player has
chosen the player has different sections on the betting table; according
to the placement of the chips the bet is defined. Usually, the sections
at the Roulette table are two.
1 Inside bets – bet placed directly on the numbers
(36 of them plus the 0 and the 00)
